smARTer was invited to create illustrations for an ad series promoting natural lubricants for industrial use. The project turned into a multi-year assignment focused on communicating the economic and ecological impact of lubricant contamination.
Based in Milwaukee, BVK’s creative/art director engaged smARTer early in the process to explore visual ideas. We sketched several different concepts to tell the ad’s message. This collaborative process occurred over the phone and by email, and resulted in solutions the agency hadn’t previously considered.
The final illustration echoes an infographic style, but is flexible enough to convey a variety of visual concepts, influencing future campaigns and marketing efforts.
